Let me check the calendar. Yep. March 28th. That's what I thought.

There's about five or six inches of snow outside (big sigh of relief ... it isn't inside - that's always awkward).

Isn't March supposed to come in like a lion and out like a lamb?

All the kids in our county got an early jump on spring break. Today was their last day of school ... except no one had school.

I'm envious of all those people who wisely bought plane tickets for someplace warmer.

As punishment for this weather, I hope their flights are delayed for an hour or two. Then they can go enjoy themselves.

i won't try to pretend to commiserate with you because we haven't had any snow this month, but it still hasn't been warm enough consistently to my tastes. so you have my pity, and i will join you in wishing delays on people who are going to warmer climates. i will also stick my tongue out at them if that helps.

I will admit that everyone in this neck of the woods seems extra grumpy. But it seems that the adults at least should have enough of a grip to not blame the snow. Unless, of course, they have SAD. There's medicine for that, I think.
